Frozen Lakefront and Lighthouse
This was one wicked cold day not all that long ago when I needed to get out of the house at lunch; this shot came out of the series and I always thought it sort of resmebled a postcard of sorts.

One Legged Duck
Ok, I just like this photo. I know it looks like the duck only has one leg, but I'm pretty sure the other one is tucked up under the duck's belly. It made me laugh.

Fall in DC
Took this photo in DC in 2008; fall was setting in and the trees were beautiful. This is from the bridge behind the omni hotel, where I was staying at the time.

Irish Roadways
I took this photo in Ennis Ireland during my first visit to the Emerald Isle; that point I have been through Shannon, to Limerick and Galway and I just can't wait to go back. I can't help but think about this time last year as Julie and I were getting ready to go over there. Good times, great food. Can't wait to go back.

Vapor Trails
One of my favorite shots from when Julie and I went to Chicago; we were on an architectural tour of the city when I spotted these jets and caught this shot. I know it's dirty, over colored and tilted, butI still love it.

A Sailboat in Madison
We just happened to go to the Madison Farmer's market in 2008 when we first got to Milwaukee; in our explorations we went down on campus and found a lot of activity, including many water lovers. UW Madison is situated between two lakes, which, during the three weeks of Wisconsin summer makes it an ideal location for all kinda of water based activities such as these.

The Harley Sign
Many of you know that Harley is based in Milwaukee, many of you also know that they have a museum dedicated to the evolution of the Harley throughout the last century; what you may not know is that I live less than 1/2 a mile from this museum, so I've had the opportunity to go there a couple of times now. I took this shot at the 106th anniversary last year (memorial day). We were listening to a band and it was hot as all get out. I've always dug this shot though because it looks like there are only two colors in the whole thing.

Dog Drinkin' a Beer

So this pooch belongs to my friends Andy and Joann and we were at a picnic over at their house when little Lily here grabbed one of the empties and ran off in a playful manner. I've always dug this photo; so much so that Lilly made an appearance on ihasahotdog.com. Go lil!

The Statue of Income Tax Prep

Just a couple of years ago, Julie and I were in South Carolina visiting my folks and I happened to be quick with the camera to catch this gentleman attempting to route folks into the tax office. I've seen this getup a couple of times since then, and none of them had the same look this guy pulled off. It always makes me laugh though.

Dark Art

Just a couple of years ago, some long time friends of mine and I went to an art museum that we've been to once or twice before to check out the exhibits in Washington DC; this piece of art was there, and I was completely struck. With some better photo editing tools I think this image could be very striking.

The Harley Museum
So it wasn't the prettiest of days, but I went to the Harley museum with Will, Charlie and Luke and I caught this snapshot. I thought it was pretty cool to see someone else's mecca.

water skier in San Francisco Bay

This was from my now infamous bike across the GG bridge in October; happened to be around the bay, over close to Tiburon and while down by the water I happened to catch this shot of a water skier. I've always loved this shot because of the level of detail. Took some quick camera work on my part, but I got it.
