Shipwrecked in Galway

This is one of my favorite shots from my series from Galway; these boats are just sitting on the shore near a park there. You can see the long road as well as the Spanish Arch in the background. Legend says that if you kiss your partner under the Spanish Arch they will become your true love.

So this photo is a little dirtier than I like (lenswise), but what do you want with an old Point and Shoot. It's still one of my favorites, and even though I know it bugs some people to have the color oversaturated, that's a look I really like. A number of photographers want to go for realism and authenticity when it comes to colors, but hey, I do what I like; and you're looking at it.
