...ok
...so I realize it didn't take me that long to miss a post. Sorry about that; I had to travel to El Paso yesterday so that kinda sucked up most of my day.
Anyhow, this is an interesting shot from right here in Milwaukee. I took this at the high hat lounge.

So here it begins
This is a shot I took with Julie's dad here in Milwaukee. I snapped the shot just while I was browsing some CD's and then tweaked it with Picasa. I love Picasa.
A Change of Pace.
Here is the deal;
I don't seem to have much to say, nor inclination to write in the context of a blog. What I do have are pictures, and lots of them. I have taken to posting my photos here and there to make a little dough, but I feel like I might be able to dole them out a bit at a time and have good content to update a blog, at least for the forseeable future.
Here is my declaration; I will attempt to post photos that are among my favorites in my collection with a little description of each until I get sick of it, or I run out of photos. Unless otherwise indicated, my camera is a Casio Exilim 7.2 megapixel point and shoot, which I love although admittedly I need to get the lense cleaned since dirt is now showing in my photos.

a blog post a day, keeping the blues away...
So this whole working from home thing is a bit different than I thought; I can't quite verbalize what I thought it would be, but this is different. I think it's a lot to tackle not knowing anyone here either so I need to figure out a way to render that.
I like the city well enough though....

Bakers dozen? nah.
Well kiddies,
It's the end of the road for me here in Cincy. After a brief stopover in Granville, Oh, I'll be a full-on wisconsin-ite. Make no mistake about it thought, I will never be a cheese-head.
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who made the last 12 years of my life so special. I'll look forward to setting up shop and communicating from our new post in Milwaukee.
Send coats and blankets.
Cheers!

Going to Milwaukee in my mind....
Right-o Kiddies,
I think Jules and I have found the place; God willing, all this stuff will shake out correctly. Here is the layout of the place we liked:

And more photos are available on the website: www.jeffersonblock.com.
This is out in the Historic 3rd Ward; and those of you who know us better know you're welcome anytime.
Here is a map of the location if all this works out:

initial photos of Meg's wedding
Hi all. Here are some of the first ones I've processed. There will be a website put up later (replacing this link) with more images, blog, the ability to upload their own photos, etc. Until then, I hope enjoy these.

Old proverb
I just kind of liked this:
“There was a man who disliked seeing his footprints and his shadow. He decided to escape from them, and began to run. But as he ran along, more footprints appeared, while his shadow easily kept up with him. Thinking he must be going too slowly, he ran faster and faster without stopping, until he finally collapsed from exhaustion and died.
If he had stood still, there would have been no footprints. If he had rested in the shade, his shadow would have disappeared.”

Beer Suggest?
Oh man, you have to try this. Any place that allows me to post all the beers I've tried is a winner in my book.
